Trial of The Grand Crusader - Quick SheetA.K.A - 10 Man ToC HEROIC VersionAll the standard strategies apply to the Heroic 10 man version of the Trial of the Crusader known as the Trial of the Grand Crusader (ToGC, TotGC, TGC) plus a few additions and changes that you need to be aware of. Please be sure to read our ToC 10 man guide or at least the ToC 10 man normal version of our strategy of the boss your interested in before reading this (unless you know it well ofc!). Northrend Beasts Heroic Mode ChangesIncreased DamageEnrage timer of 520 seconds which is a little over 8.5 minutes. Acidmaw and Dreadscale spawn 150 seconds (2.5 minutes) after starting the event. Icehowl spawns 190 seconds after Acidmaw and Dreadscale (a little over 3 minutes). Gormok Heroic Mode ChangesImpale every 10 seconds on the highest threat target. Impale now deals 150% weapon damage and puts a 5k bleed effect on the target that ticks every 2 seconds for a total of 45 seconds. This effect stacks and it’s highly dangerous to have tanks taking more than 2 stacks, think about having a third tank here in the tanking rotation Acidmaw and Dreadscale Heroic Mode ChangesNothing new here apart from a massive ton of damage and the burning bile debuff doesnt seem to last as long. Icehowl Heroic Mode ChangesNo speed buff after Massive Crash. If he focuses you or a raid member close to you start moving as soon as possible or your toast. Lord Jaraxxus Heroic Mode ChangesPortals and volcanoes need to be nuked they do not despawn on their own, every single DPS MUST switch quickly and do the job. once they have been taken down it is recommended that your melee go on the boss and ranged take out the adds. If you dont take out the portal or vocano quickly enough you will have more adds and less time to dps the boss. Misstresses of Pain gain another ability called Mistress’ Kiss, basically if you get this the next spell cast will be interrupted and you will be locked out of the spell school for the next 6 seconds. The infernals can no longer be stunned or banished, if an infernal lands in the melee area, the Jaraxxus tank will need to relocate the boss because the hellfire will now hit for much more damage Faction Champions Heroic Mode ChangesThe opposing team is now immune to target changing effects such as taunt or dark command. Individual health and damage are increased. Twin Val’kyr Heroic Mode ChangesIncreased number of orbs. Increased damage from the orbs Shared health pool of the twins is increased Shield now absorbs increased damage Increased damage from the constant debuff Dark Shield requires more healing on the Lightbane tank and vice versa as the damage will increase dramatically Anub'arak Heroic Mode ChangesMassive increase in damage and life points Limited amount of ice crystals to create permafrost Adds will try to cast shadow step, must be interrupted, will one shot it's target AoE nuke adds, the debuffs are worse than on normal mode Leaching Swarm now takes 20% of the players health not 10%.
